Itinerary

    DAY 01 – Colombo Arrival – Transfer to Kandy

    Today it will be your arrival to Colombo after which you will be transferred to Kandy. 

    On the way you should visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala where they feed the elephants with milk and where the elephants take their bath. 

    Also, during the tour, one can go for Pinnawala Open Zoo as well as a Spice Garden.

    DAY 02 – Kandy

    There are such as the Temple of the Tooth Relic which is on the list of the world heritage site you will be able to visit there. One of the most visited and significant places of the area, the Royal Botanical Gardens can be exploited especially for splendid orchids.

    DAY 05 – Nuwara Eliya - Bentota

    DAY 06 – Bentota

    Experience the Madu River boat safari, explore the mangroves, visit a cinnamon island, and witness the vibrant biodiversity. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Conservation Project to learn about turtle conservation efforts. Enjoy Bentota Water Sports (Jet Ski, Banana Ride & Tube Ride) 

    DAY 07 – Bentota - Colombo

    After breakfast, proceed to Colombo, do a city tour of Colombo – the trade and commercial capital has long been the traditional gateway to the Orient. Visit the beautiful Buddhist temples, Hindu temples, mosques, the historic Wolfendhal church and Dutch museum depicting Dutch Colonial 

    history of Colombo. Later proceed for Negombo, a short drive away and offers a long stretch of sandy beach. It's a popular spot for water sports and seafood dining.

    Day 08 - Departure

    After breakfast proceed to the Airport for the departure with sweet memories.

Sri Lanka has, of course, tropical conditions and its climate is quite warm all through the year.
coastal regions are characterised as hot and damp, and there are cooler conditions in the interior highlands region.
The west and south coasts’ dry season is from December to March.
Wet season in Burkina Faso is from April to November but the south west coastal area receives the most rainfall.

Currency

The official currency is Sri Lankan Rupee during the trimester to be included in ITGC. 
Change Indian Rupees to Sri Lankan Rupees at the official money exchange counters or with any bank in Sri Lanka on arrival. 
Apart from this few places accept US Dollars (USD) and so keeping local money is advisable when traveling around.

Documents Required for Traveling

Passport: Check that your passport will be valid not less 6 months beyond your planned date of exit from Sri Lanka. 
Return Ticket: There is a requirement for a confirmed return or onward ticket. 
Proof of Accommodation: Make sure to have a confirmed booking of your accommodation of your stay.

Visa Requirements

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA): Generally, Indian citizens are required to obtain an ETA before they visit Sri Lanka. 
The application process is available through the internet and obtaining approval is fast. 
Visa Extension: If your wish is to remain within the country for more time than your ETA lets you, then the only available option is to contact some local immigration services to receive an extension of the visa.
